- All players and guests must check-in at the Golf Shop upon arrival.
- Players must present a neat appearance and wear proper golf attire for all outdoor golfing activities, such as golfing or using the practice facility. Collared shirts, mid- to knee-length shorts or skorts and soft-spike golf shoes are required. We do allow denim to be worn on the golf course and in all areas of the clubhouse. We will be as accommodating as possible but do reserve the right to refuse services based on inappropriate attire.
- Starting times may be reserved up to 14 days in advance. Golf groups consisting of 16 or more players wanting to book more than 14 days in advance should contact Brian Lorenz to arrange tee times. - Starting time cancellations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. If your plans change and you need to cancel your round, call 319.752.0004, ext. 1.
- Inclement weather policy: Rainy weather itself may not dictate the closing of the golf course. Should the golf course close due to inclement weather, rain checks will be issued to all players. Rain checks are pro-rated based on the number of holes completed prior to the closure.
- Playing in groups of more than 4 players is prohibited. Groups playing as groups of more than 4 will be asked to split up immediately.
- Pace of play: Foursomes should complete their rounds in 4 hours and 15 minutes. To ensure all players have an enjoyable experience, we ask that you keep pace with the group in front and play ready golf.
- All outside food and beverages are prohibited at Spirt Hollow, including but not limited to the Golf Course, the Lodge or Cabins and Lambo’s. Lambo’s or Lambo’s Drive Thru is available for all your Food & Beverage needs. Iowa’s state law prohibits anyone from bringing alcoholic beverages into licensed facilities. Anyone caught with beverages not sold by our facility will have their beverages confiscated and may be asked to leave the facility
